Paradigm is a support model that has been favoured by ultrarunners and long-distance walkers. Characteristics include cushioning and stability. They can be relied on for everything from everyday walking/jogging to serious long-distance runs/walks.
The key is the 'GuideRail' technology, which corrects only when necessary. It supports excessive inward collapse in a natural way and ensures stability during running. This helps habitual runners and runners to maintain firm form even in the second half of long runs when fatigue can set in.
The updated Altra EGO MAX midsole also provides both cushioning and resilience. The 30 mm thickness reduces damage to the foot over long distances and provides powerful support right to the last step.
In addition, the redesigned engineered mesh upper and new Ghillie lacing system improve breathability and fit. The soft ankle-around-the-ankle closure and heel construction ensure lasting comfort, even over extended periods of use.
