I’ve finished knitting these tabi-style socks to prevent sweaty and cold feet
These are called "base layer socks," which you wear under thick socks when hiking in the mountains during winter.
These socks aren’t just for layering; they can be worn on their own as everyday footwear, except during the depths of winter.
The outer layer is made of wool, which provides insulation and odor control.
The reverse side features cupro, a material with excellent moisture-wicking and moisture-retaining properties.
A pair of shoes that keeps your feet dry and comfortable.
We’ve created socks that are thin yet durable enough to resist developing holes.

Embroidery on a charm that only I know about, whether it’s visible or not.
I’ve added an embroidery design of Hakusan furo, an alpine flower that blooms in the mountains.
This embroidery thread is also designed so it won’t hurt when it touches your skin.
To create a soft, hand-sewn texture.
I looked for embroidery thread and decided to use Bemberg thread.

〇About the materials used in our socks

[Merino wool × Cupra]
The warp yarn is 100% merino wool. We use a yarn called AUTHENTICO, which is a blend of Australian and New Zealand merino wool.
By blending New Zealand Merino, known for its excellent bulk, with voluminous Australian Merino wool, this fabric boasts superior whiteness and strong crimp, resulting in a beautiful luster and fullness.
We used cupro for the inner layer (the side that touches the skin).
Cupra is a regenerated fiber made from cotton linter; it is primarily used for suit linings and is sometimes referred to as "Vemburg," though "Vemburg" is a trademark owned by Asahi Kasei.
This pair is knitted with the same high-quality tailoring found in a luxury suit, featuring fine wool on the outside and cupro on the inside.

〇About the Effects of Cupra

・It keeps the soles of your feet dry and comfortable
・It has excellent moisture-absorbing and moisture-releasing properties, gradually regulating the skin’s moisture balance and slowly releasing absorbed moisture without letting heat escape.
・Because the fabric contains a high moisture content, the socks may feel slightly damp after you take them off
・While it doesn’t absorb moisture or dry as quickly as polyester, it does absorb moisture,

〇Regarding Strength

We conducted a friction strength test on the fabric to determine how many cycles it would take for it to tear.
Test results show that these socks are six times stronger than standard socks.
(Test data showing that a hole formed after 3,004 friction cycles)
