Product Description
Nemo Zoa Medium Mummy
■Excerpt from the manufacturer's description
An Ultra-Lightweight Self-Inflating Pad That Makes a Minimalist's Dreams Come True
Zoa is a self-inflating mat designed to strike a balance between lightness and insulation. Surprisingly lightweight and compact enough to take anywhere, it’s the ideal companion for mountaineers and UL hikers.
While taking weight reduction to the absolute limit, it still maintains sufficient insulation, allowing you to rest assured in any environment. The 2-axis structure—featuring cutouts in the insulating foam inside the mat in both vertical and horizontal directions—thoroughly eliminates unnecessary weight while reliably ensuring the necessary insulation.
It features a lightweight, simple twist-lock valve, making setup a breeze.
The appeal of this mat lies in its sleeping comfort—it’s thin yet provides firm support for your body. The high-density PU foam, known for its excellent durability, offers a solid, stable feel. Its natural elasticity—which differs from that of an air mattress—absorbs unevenness in the ground and cradles your tired body, allowing you to rest comfortably and quickly no matter where you are.
The Zoa performs well in a variety of environments, from hiking to camping. While it is ideal for three-season use, it can also be used during the harshest winter months when layered with a closed-cell foam mat, such as the Switchback.
■Product Features
・2-Axis Scoring
Cutting a large hole in the insulating foam inside the mat makes it lighter, but it also allows cold air from the ground to penetrate more easily, compromising its insulating properties. By cutting out sections of the foam in both the vertical and horizontal directions, we’ve achieved maximum weight reduction while maintaining its insulating properties.
・Ultra-lightweight 20D fabric
Made from soft-to-the-touch 20D polyester, it offers both lightweight, compact design and comfort.
・Twist-lock valve
The twist-lock mechanism allows you to open or close the valve with just a light twist. When locked, it prevents accidental air leaks and maintains consistent firmness even while you sleep. Inflating, deflating, and fine-tuning the firmness are intuitive and smooth, ensuring quick setup and a comfortable experience.
・Non-slip silicone coating
The shoulder and waist areas on the underside of the mat—where the most weight is borne—feature a silicone non-slip coating to prevent the mat from sliding inside the tent.
