Arc'teryx's most versatile Gore-Tex shell. It features a durable 80-denier outer fabric and a lightweight, high-strength, PFC-free Gore-Tex ePE (extended polyethylene) membrane. It delivers durable waterproofing, windproofing, and breathability while reducing carbon emissions.Comfort is enhanced by the C-KNIT backer. The lightweight StormHood can be quickly adjusted with a single pull, providing coverage without obstructing your view. The 3D construction allows for ease of movement, while the built-in RECCO reflector improves searchability in emergencies. This product is intentionally free of PFAS.Our new ePE membrane technology delivers the same strength and durability as traditional materials while being lighter and thinner. You may notice that the outer fabric of products using the ePE membrane tends to feel slightly damp, but rest assured that this does not affect the membrane’s waterproof performance. If the fabric feels dampter than expected, washing and drying the jacket to remove oil stains will restore the DWR’s waterproofing.
