A dual-fuel model is new to the Spot, which packs a wide range of functions into a compact body.
Either the BD1500 battery (sold separately) or AAA alkaline batteries can be used, allowing the BD1500 battery to be used for everyday use and the alkaline batteries for environments where recharging is not possible for long periods.
Dual fuel: alkaline batteries (included) or BD1500 batteries (sold separately) can be used.
Close and long range modes, dimming (increase/decrease), strobe, red night vision, lock mode.
Built-in illuminance memory: lights up at the last used illuminance
All internally reflective lenses with prismatic effect to harness power.
Power tap for instant switching between selected illuminance and maximum illuminance
-Red night vision (dimming/strobe) that illuminates without going through the white mode.

IPX8 (waterproof to withstand 30 minutes in fresh water at a depth of 1.1m. Operates even if the battery case is submerged inside).
