The SKYRUNNER EDGE is an ultra-lightweight and durable carbon pole designed for athletes who take on these extreme conditions.
It is incredibly light, weighing just 138g (120cm/including gloves) and is extremely compact at 38cm when folded. It fits neatly into a race waistcoat or quiver and is easy to carry.
The pole body is made of the highest quality Toray 800 carbon fibre. The high modulus material and reinforced layered construction provide lightweight yet high rigidity and durability.
At the heart of the SKYRUNNER EDGE is the UK-designed 'Edge Clip' system.
This innovative mechanism for fast, secure fastening of grips and straps allows for quick release and reattachment on the move, supporting smooth transitions on technical trails. The design efficiently transfers power with every step, providing both speed and stability.
Furthermore, based on motion analysis by the Mountain King TrailBlaze team, the movement of the poles is optimised to follow the natural stride of the runner.
Smoother movement from forward throw to recovery, improving rhythm and energy efficiency. Helps maintain focus and control during long-distance races while reducing fatigue.
The grip is made of ergonomic EVA foam, providing a comfortable grip and stable operation.
