What is this? The high-impact, barrel-shaped shape is designed to keep the padding inflated without sticking out the knees when cross-legged, making this a unique skirt that will keep you warm during day-trip sinogging breaks and relaxing overnight sinogging sessions.
It is deep around the waist so that it does not slip down and become cold when sitting down, and the through pockets on both sides allow access to the pockets of the trousers worn underneath and also work well as hand warmers.
Down trousers are often used when sitting down, but the knees and hips stick out and the down is squashed, often making you feel cold there, whereas the Aglas Skirt keeps your legs and feet warm whether you are sitting or standing.

*Note on use*.
The Agulhas cart is designed to be used when stagnant at hammock points and is designed for walking around the hammock or to the toilet.
Do not use them on hiking trails as they are dangerous as they do not allow for sufficient strides and can catch on steps.
Due to the breathable lining, a small amount of wadding may come out.

■■Centrally
After a short time of wearing the Agulhas skirt, the air inside the skirt is warmed by body heat.
This warmed air is trapped inside the skirt without leaking out thanks to its unique barrel shape.
In addition, by using highly breathable PERTEX QUANTUM AIR for the lining, sweat is efficiently passed on to the wool filling, which has excellent moisture absorption properties, without condensation on the lining even when worn in a sweaty state.
The perspiration absorbed by the cotton filling is then released out of the outer fabric as water vapour. The water-repellent lining keeps you dry and dry even when perspiration permeates through it.

■ dressing up
If you wear the Agulhas skirt over your head and put your arms out of the through pockets, it can also be used as a very warm waistcoat that covers the waist area.
This is a fairly effective way of wearing it and may be more convenient this way for hanging around the hammock.
If you are a petite person, you can wrap yourself completely in an agrass skirt in 'gymnastics' to keep your whole body warm.
