■ Maintenance.
Washing in cold water using a washing machine is possible, but hand washing (push-washing) is recommended.
Use a neutral detergent and do not use fabric softener or bleach (detergents containing fabric softener ingredients may reduce water repellency).
Close all zippers and Velcro before washing.
Rinse at least twice.
Do not use the dehydration function of the washing machine as it may damage the fabric and the washing machine itself.
Tumbler drying and dry cleaning prohibited.
After washing, shape and hang dry in the shade in an airy place immediately.
If the water-repellent function deteriorates, iron (low temperature mode) using a cloth.

■Tasma
○ Material Description.
This next-generation waterproof, breathable material was developed in collaboration with Toray Industries, Inc.
ESP membrane made by electrospinning process with multiple layers of blown micro-unit polyurethane fibres.
Layers of microscopic meshes block out moisture and allow physical ventilation.

So 'ventilation', not 'moisture permeability'.
Yet another feature is the softness and comfort that you would not expect from a waterproof breathable material.

Outer fabric is made of high-strength nylon, making it both durable and lightweight. Mechanical stretch provides sufficient elasticity despite being 100% nylon.
The lining is made from a moisture-wicking, quick-drying 20 denier knit backer, which combines supple texture with high functionality and a good balance between high waterproofing and breathability.

○ Handling instructions.
When washing your own clothes, use a neutral detergent.
Never use fabric softener or bleach.

When washing, always wash by hand and press carefully. Do not use the hand wash course of a washing machine.

After washing, rinse thoroughly to ensure no detergent residue.
Any detergent residue will reduce water repellency.
(Surfactants are substances that bind water and oil together, so any detergent residue on the fabric will significantly reduce the water repellent function of the fabric surface.)

The same applies to surface fabrics that are clogged with microscopic particles of debris, etc. The particles that remain in the gaps between the fabrics often cause a reduction in water repellency and water penetration.
After rinsing, dry in the shade and iron the garment when semi-dry, but do so at a low temperature and be careful not to unravel the fabric.
Do not use a dryer.

The three-dimensional cutting takes into account the ROM (Range of Motion) of the shoulder joint, which moves significantly, and follows any movement of the sliding hand without interfering with it.
This season, the folded parts of the hood and hem are aligned with the outer fabric for even greater durability.
