We wanted to take the military and work pants we love so much, give them a more refined silhouette, and wear them on the mountain! That was the concept behind the development of these Baker Pants.
The fabric is made of 100% polyester using hollow-fiber technology. It has a moderate thickness and body, creating a three-dimensional drape—an elegant fabric.
It features just the right amount of stretch and a light, comfortable feel when worn.
It offers all the features you need for outdoor activities, including water-repellent properties to ward off light rain, the quick-drying capabilities unique to polyester, and UV protection to shield your skin.

The distinctive front patch pockets on Baker pants can sometimes look a bit frumpy, but the deep tucks create a beautiful drape and give them an elegant look.
The overall silhouette features a fairly wide leg that tapers gracefully toward the hem, creating a balloon silhouette—a pattern that offers a relaxed fit for a variety of body types.
In addition, the deep rise and gussets at the crotch allow for excellent freedom of movement, and the three-dimensional front zipper—a technique often used in tailored clothing—ensures the fabric doesn’t bunch up.
By making the rubber strap wider, the belt is designed to rest gently over a broad area of the pelvis, minimizing strain on the lower back even during prolonged wear while also staying securely in place even when you move.
