The first step into the global market is a jacket and trousers made from the three-layer waterproof and breathable fabric 'Tasma'. For overseas expansion, a PFC-free durable water repellent finish has been adopted.The design is by the Swiss designer who co-developed the AMAUTI backpack. While maintaining the core development philosophy – appropriate material selection, cutting faithful to joint mobility, and prioritising ventilation – we've added a European essence. Our unchanging policy remains "Functional Beauty". The product's distinctive appearance always serves a function.The front angled zip is inherited from the TSURUGI JACKET. The three-dimensional cut, which does not compromise shoulder joint mobility, is also shared. The longer length reflects Western trends, with zips positioned on both sides to allow smooth leg movement when hiking up. Like other shells, the overall design is low-profile, extensively utilising laser cutting and ultrasonic bonding. TETON BROS.'s new challenge begins here.

■FEATURES

・Angle zip
The double-slider zip, opening widely from the neck to the side, is inherited from the TSURUGI JACKET. It achieves maximum ventilation while ensuring ease of donning and doffing.

・Food structure
A hood designed for helmet wear. Adjustable in both vertical and horizontal directions to ensure a secure fit regardless of helmet use.

・Hem zip
A zip designed to ensure leg mobility during hiking. Positioned in line with the GLOBAL PANT's side zip, it enhances ventilation efficiency.

・Laser ventilation
The upper back features permanently open ventilation created by overlapping fabric panels.

・Inner pocket
Inside the front zip is a mesh pocket, convenient for storing valuables and other items.

・Hem stopper
The hem drawcord stopper is positioned at the front centre rather than the sides. This design avoids interference with gear attached to gear loops when wearing a harness.

■Maintenance Method

・Machine washing is possible, but hand washing (by pressing) is recommended.
・Use a neutral detergent; do not use fabric softener or bleach (detergents containing fabric softener components may reduce water repellency).
・Please fasten all zips and Velcro before washing.
・Please rinse at least twice.
・Please refrain from using the spin cycle function on your washing machine, as it may cause damage to fabrics or result in malfunction of the machine itself.
・Do not tumble dry or dry clean
・After washing, reshape immediately and hang to dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
・Should the water-repellent function diminish, iron using a pressing cloth (low-temperature setting).

■Tasma

〇Material Description

This next-generation waterproof breathable fabric was developed jointly with Toray. It employs an ESP membrane created through electrospinning, where multiple layers of micro-scale polyurethane fibres are blown and layered. The overlapping micro-mesh blocks moisture while enabling physical ventilation. Hence, it is 'ventilation' rather than 'moisture permeability'.Moreover, its remarkably soft feel, unexpected for a waterproof-breathable fabric, is another defining characteristic. The outer layer uses high-strength nylon, achieving both durability and lightness. Mechanical stretch provides ample elasticity despite being 100% nylon. The lining features a 20-denier knit backer with excellent moisture-wicking and quick-drying properties, combining a supple texture with high functionality. This material balances superior waterproofing and breathability effectively.

〇Operating Instructions

When washing by hand, please use a neutral detergent. Never use fabric softener or bleach. Always wash by hand, gently pressing the fabric. Do not use the hand wash cycle on a washing machine.
After washing, ensure thorough rinsing to remove all detergent residue. Any remaining detergent will reduce the fabric's water repellency. (As surfactants are substances that bind water and oil, detergent left on the fabric significantly diminishes its surface water-repellent properties.)
Similarly, if fine dust particles become lodged in the surface fabric, these particles often remain trapped in the fabric's fibres, frequently causing reduced water repellency or water penetration. After rinsing, dry in the shade and iron while the fabric is still damp. Use a low temperature setting and take care not to melt the fabric. Do not use a tumble dryer.

If the product has been repaired, washed or cleaned.

If you return the goods without informing us in advance.
