OctaCPCP used as a fleece
The outdoor clothing and active insulation category has expanded rapidly in recent years.
Mainly foreign brands were the first to develop products. One such active insulation padding material was TEIJIN OctaCPCP, a material with its light weight and high thermal insulation capacity.

STATIC has chosen to use OctaCPCP, which is normally used as a lining material for cotton products, as a single fabric. This is because the brand's products, which are developed in high altitude and dry climates, combine OctaCPCP with a nylon shell material, which is heavy and difficult to layer in Japan, where it is often carried as warm clothing.

Due to its special mesh construction, it is overwhelmingly lighter than fleeces weighing around 300g, which are generally considered to be thinner, and has a very high heat retention to weight ratio and excellent portability, making it ideal for all seasons.

From autumn/winter 2023, we have become the first company in the industry to use 53% recycled material.
Recycled polyester reduces CO2 emissions during fabric production by 23% compared to OctaCPCP made from virgin polyester.
Made from fabrics produced at OEKO-TEX-certified (*) factories in Japan.
The dyeing process for fabrics uses biomass (derived from plants) instead of petroleum to reduce CO2 emissions.
Cutting waste from the product manufacturing process is not incinerated but recycled as new fabric.
Brand, size tag and quality label: 100% recycled polyester from plastic bottles.

Measurements are taken on a flat surface. (Unit: cm)
The length is measured from the centre of the back neck to the hem.
The hem width is the finished size. The +10 cm is stretched in a circle due to the specification of squeezing with binder tape.

■Care methods and precautions.
Fabric softener and bleach cannot be used.
Hand wash or put in a laundry net and turn in fashionable washing or hand wash mode.
No dryer or dry-cleaning.
The fabric is vulnerable to snagging on sharp objects, so please be careful when bushwalking.
