The wide-opening waist pocket doubles as a ventilation opening, ensuring efficient airflow even when wearing a backpack. The hood, which can be worn over a helmet, features a system that allows for fine adjustments. With world-class durability and a functionally designed cut, this jacket is a reliable piece of gear for long, demanding mountain treks.

This season's update includes a sweat-wicking panel on the inside of the collar—an area prone to sweat buildup—and a loop for hanging the jacket on a hook. The women's model offers the same functionality as the YARI JACKET but features a pattern tailored to the female form.

■FEATURES
・Food
The hood is designed to be worn with a helmet. The drawcord around the hood’s perimeter is attached to a separate tubular component rather than the main body. This ensures a snug, gap-free fit around the face, preventing rain from entering.

・Ventilation / Pockets
Large pockets that incorporate the ventilation design of the TB JACKET. The zippers are angled for easy opening and closing even while wearing a backpack, and feature a user-friendly double-slider design. The interior mesh lining provides excellent ventilation.

・Updates to the collar lining
A sweat-wicking strip has been added to the inside of the collar to improve resistance to oil and dirt. A loop has also been added for temporarily hanging the garment.

・Cuffs
Wide cuffs. You can slip your arms through easily even while wearing gloves, and the slim tabs provide a snug, enveloping fit.

■Material Description
The outer fabric is a 20-denier Cordura® material with mechanical stretch, featuring a durable water-repellent finish. The lining is a supple 7-denier tricot.Boasting high waterproof and breathable specifications—a water column rating of 20,000 mm and a moisture vapor transmission rate of 20,000 g/m²/24h—it also achieved an astonishing result of over 200,000 cycles in the Martindale abrasion test, which is considered to reach maximum strength after 20,000 cycles. This fabric maximizes the properties of Cordura, a material said to be seven times stronger than standard nylon.
The material’s inherent durability is one aspect of our approach to the environment.

■Handling Instructions
・If you wash this item yourself, be sure to use a mild detergent.
・Never use fabric softeners or bleach, as they may damage the fabric's performance.
・Always wash by hand, gently pressing the fabric.
*Please do not use the delicate cycle on your washing machine.
・After washing, it is important to rinse thoroughly to ensure no detergent remains in the fabric.
・Leaving detergent residue on the fabric can reduce its water-repellent properties. This is because the surfactants in detergent have the ability to bind water and oil; if they remain on the fabric’s surface, they weaken its natural water-repellent function.
You should also be careful if fine dust or particles are clogging the fabric surface.
・If foreign objects remain trapped in the fabric fibers, this can lead to reduced water repellency or water penetration.
・After rinsing, please air-dry in the shade.
It is most effective to iron the fabric while it is still slightly damp using a low heat setting, but please take great care to ensure the fabric does not melt or become damaged.
・Please do not use a dryer.

■Maintenance Instructions
・While machine washing is possible, we recommend hand washing (by gently pressing).
・Use a mild detergent; do not use fabric softener or bleach
・Please close all zippers and Velcro fasteners before washing
・Please rinse at least twice
・Do not use the spin cycle on your washing machine, as it may damage the fabric or cause the machine to malfunction.
・Do not tumble dry or dry clean
・After washing, reshape the garment immediately and hang it to dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
・If the water-repellent properties have diminished, iron the item using a pressing cloth (on the low-temperature setting)
