The blade is full tang (structure with steel all the way to the end of the handle) and the steel is ALLEIMA 12C27stainless steel with a blade thickness of 3 mm, made of highly polished stainless steel with excellent rust and wear resistance. It is strong and durable enough for heavy-duty work such as batoning (chopping wood).

Besides cutting and carving.
As well as cutting such as batoning, it is easy to use as a light carving knife as the blade length is made slightly shorter (102 mm) compared to other full tang models of the Helena knife, making it easier to handle and use as a light carving knife. In addition, the Uutubera has a wider blade and a stronger angle of rise of the radius (the sled) from the cutting edge to the point (the cutting edge), so it shows its true strength even when skinning after hunting.

What is a utubera?
The name derives from the name of Norway's westernmost archipelago region. Jutubela is famous for its history, which dates back to the Viking Age. In 1066, Harald Hardrade set sail from Sørnd to conquer England. Two hundred ships, supply ships and other smaller vessels were assembled, and according to the story, some of them left from Eutbera. Some traces can be seen on the mountainside east of the bay, near Rikberget, where the marks of Vikings sharpening their swords before setting out on the raid are still visible on the mountainside today.
