In recent years, the outdoor apparel and active insulation categories have expanded rapidly.
Overseas brands were primarily leading the way in product development. One such active insulation filling material was TEIJIN OctaCPCP, which was known for its lightweight nature and high thermal insulation properties.

At STATIC, we chose to use OctaCPCP—a material typically used as a lining for insulated garments—as a standalone fabric. Since products from brands developed in high-altitude, arid climates combine OctaCPCP with a nylon shell, they tend to be heavy. We felt this would make them difficult to layer in Japan, where people often carry insulated clothing with them.

Thanks to its unique mesh construction, it is significantly lighter than typical fleece fabrics weighing around 300 grams, offers exceptional warmth relative to its weight, and is highly portable, making it ideal for year-round use.

■Material Characteristics
・Lightweight feel: Approximately half the weight of polyester fibers of the same diameter
・Moisture-wicking and quick-drying: Approximately half the weight of polyester fibers of the same diameter
・Heat insulation: The dead air trapped within the space created by the hollow sections and eight protrusions provides heat insulation.

■Environmental
・Starting in Fall/Winter 2023, we became the first in the industry to use 53% recycled materials
・By using recycled materials, CO2 emissions during fabric production are reduced by 23% compared to virgin polyester containing OctaCPCP
・We use fabric produced at a factory in Japan that has received OEKO-TEX certification (*)
・In the fabric dyeing process, we use biomass (plant-based) instead of petroleum to reduce CO2 emissions
・The fabric scraps generated during the manufacturing process are recycled into new fabric rather than being incinerated
・Brand, size tag, and care label: 100% recycled polyester made from PET bottles

Cancellation of orders

As a rule, cancellations after the dispatch completion email has been sent are not accepted.

Although we make every effort to manage our stock, we reserve the right to cancel an order if we are unable to keep the ordered product in stock for an unavoidable reason.

The number of purchases may be limited for some products. Orders from multiple accounts that appear to be from the same person, or orders that appear to be using a BOT, may be cancelled or reduced in quantity.

Returns and exchanges

However, in the unlikely event that the product is damaged or defaced, or if you receive an item that is different from your order, please contact us within 7 days of the delivery date. We will take action at our expense.

If a replacement can be secured, the product will be replaced.
If a replacement cannot be secured, a refund will be made.

Returns and exchanges will not be accepted if any of the following conditions apply. Please note in advance

If more than 8 days have elapsed since the arrival of the goods
When the customer is deemed to have used the product by our company.
If the product has been repaired, washed or cleaned.
Loss or damage to accessories (product tag, warranty card, bag, box, etc.)
If smells, scratches or stains occur under the customer's care.
Products that come into contact with the skin, such as underwear, socks and accessories, perfumes and cosmetics.
If you return the goods without informing us in advance.

About the indicated prices

Every care is taken to ensure that correct product information is displayed on the website, but in the unlikely event that it is discovered after payment has been made that the price of a product was incorrectly displayed on the website, the customer will be contacted and the correct price will be corrected before payment is made or the order is cancelled.
