Dynamic heat-retaining hoody for year-round use.
The main material is Stretch Octa Bonding, which offers moderate warmth, breathability and stretch, mapped to Primeflex, a stretch softshell with high breathability. The use of the right materials in the right places has resulted in a well-balanced active insulation hoody. Compared to the SUB JACKET, which uses 'Octa' all over, the SUB JACKET is more breathable, making it ideal for more athletic activities. Not only as a mid-layer in the backcountry, but also on its own for trekking and mountain running. Widely used all year round in activities where dynamic warmth retention is important.
Mapping.
Stretch Octa Bonding on the back, front and upper arms for warmth and breathability. Supple softshell is mapped to the side panels and hood for ventilation and fit, and to the inner arms and sides of the back.
Hood shape
Hood fits securely to the head. Made of softshell material without padding, designed to be worn under a helmet.
Centre zip.
The double-slider central zip can function as ventilation if opened from below.
Hem drawcord
Single-handed drawcord stoppers on both sides of the hem.
Cuff specifications
Thumbholes at the cuffs. They increase heat retention at the back of the hands and prevent the sleeves from slipping up when layering.
Outer fabric and padding
Stretch Octa Bonding was jointly developed by Teijin and Teton Bros. Octa is bonded directly to supple Primeflex, making it possible to keep the inside of the garment more comfortable than ever before.
