Pursuing use for trekking
The AU-08/WHITE was developed with the intention of being used specifically in the mountain climbing scene in Japan.
The biggest difference between the long trails of the US and Europe, which give rise to much of the outdoor culture, and the Japanese climbing scene is the terrain. Japanese climbing is in mountainous areas where updrafts are likely to occur. Furthermore, many of the routes are above the tree line, where there is little shelter, and as a result, strong winds are frequently encountered.
The optimal equipment will differ depending on the environment, and this is the idea behind Arata's trekking umbrella "AU-08/WHITE."
