Arts & Crimes Climbing Rope Belt (Brass)

"Arts and Climbs" values craftsmanship and creates items that bridge the gap between climbing and art—items you can use in your everyday life.
I upcycled a climbing rope that had served its purpose as a climbing partner to make a belt. I washed the rope to remove any dirt. I removed the core from the rope, flattened it, and sewed two strands together. The buckles are crafted by cutting and shaping brass, copper, or aluminum, then hammering them into shape. The tag is made of leather and stamped with “ARTS AND CLIMBS” in capital letters.
Since this is a used rope, it has some friction marks from climbing. I used zigzag stitching to hide the areas that bothered me, turning them into design accents.

Due to the nature of the materials used in this product, it is prone to rust and other forms of deterioration over time, regardless of whether it is used or not.

Order Cancellation

Returns and Exchanges
While we take the utmost care to ensure the quality of our products and their packaging, in the unlikely event that an item arrives damaged or soiled, or if you receive an item that differs from your order, please contact us via the “Contact Form ” within 7 days of the delivery date. We will cover all associated costs.

・If odors, scratches, or stains occur while the item is in the customer's possession
・Items that come into direct contact with the skin, such as underwear, socks, and accessories, as well as perfumes and cosmetics, etc.
