'Thought and Creation'
At the time of the sale of the Karhuwa jumper, all other companies' items using octa were lined with octa.
These may be rather because they were designed for activities in colder and higher altitude environments than in Japan.
As a ryo, we had been looking at octa, which is lightweight and moderately insulating, but we had not intended to use it as a lining.
The reason is that we felt that in the low mountains, Ling's field, a single piece octa sweater is most often used as a layer over a base layer.
If wind is a concern, a breathable shell such as a Hagoromo can be layered, as this is by far the most versatile.
It is effective as active insulation in cold-weather sinogging, providing adequate warmth during action, and as insulation in warm-weather sinogging, preventing sweat chill during stagnation.
Slip it into a gap in your backpack and you can use it for something all year round.

It is very light and moderately warm and comfortable. This "moderately" is exactly what the concept of "surpassing" has in common, and the comfort of not overheating even on routes with endless ridge climbs and repeated ups and downs makes it ideal for chinogging.
