ASP-03 is a polyethylene mat that makes sleeping more comfortable while climbing mountains.
When combined with an air mattress, you can sleep more comfortably, and this product is also recommended for UL hikers who want to keep weight to a minimum.
The mattress is made of lightweight polyethylene that is highly insulating and comfortable to sleep on, and is sourced from a country other than the country of manufacture. This allows the mattress to have an R-value of 0.4 or more, even though it is only 3mm thick. Currently, there is no product with a better R-value per weight than the ASP-03.
It is 180cm long, a size that can be easily combined with various air mats. By combining the two, it is possible to prevent the air mat from slipping and increase the R value. Furthermore, by folding the ASP-03, it becomes a lightweight, high-performance UL mat with a length of 90cm, a thickness of 6mm, an R value of approx. 0.85 or more, and a weight of 42g.
A lightweight, high-performance, and versatile polyethylene mat has been created to suit Japan's current mountain scene, where climbing styles are becoming increasingly diverse.
