Trousers for winter hiking that you can leave home early in the morning, walk up a snowy mountain, sleep in a tent, struggle against wind and snow ridges and return home ...... all the while.
The softshell fabric, co-developed with Pertex's waterproof breathable technology Sealed Air, has an excellent 'nookiness' by actually ventilating while protecting against snow and wind and rain, and the excellent stretch and jersey lining feel so good you can even wear it inside a sleeping bag.
Without the need for cumbersome gaiters to put on and take off, the hooks at the hem can be connected to the boots to prevent snow from entering, while the rugged 500D Cordura nylon fabric inside the hem protects the pants from the claws of crampons.
In addition, the five user-friendly pockets, unique to Yama-Michi, all have zips to prevent snow from entering.
