Teijin Octa, a revolutionary polyester material, weighs only half as much as polyester fibres of the same diameter, and the central cavity of the fibre and the eight protrusions arranged in a radial pattern on the surface not only absorb and diffuse sweat quickly, but also contain more dead air in the space created by its unique shape This creates a heat-shielding and heat-retaining effect.
