The name has been changed from the Beta Lightweight Jacket to the Beta SL Jacket.

The ultra-lightweight Beta SL jacket is designed for the harsh conditions of the mountains. Not only is it highly versatile, lightweight, and packable, but it also offers perfect waterproofing, windproofing, and breathability. The innovative GORE-TEX ePE membrane is lightweight, highly durable, and PFC-free. C-KNIT backing technology enhances comfort and breathability. The helmet-compatible StormHood provides protection without obstructing your view, while the underarm zippers ensure ventilation. RECCO reflectors support rescue efforts in the field.

This product does not contain any intentionally added PFAS.

The new ePE membrane technology is lighter and thinner, yet offers the same strength and durability as traditional materials. You may notice that the outer fabric of products made with the ePE membrane “gets wet” slightly faster, but please rest assured that this does not affect the membrane’s waterproof performance. If you feel the fabric is getting wet sooner than expected, simply wash and dry the jacket to remove oil stains and fully restore the DWR (durable water repellent) treatment.
