The lightest weight Beta SL jacket is designed for extreme conditions in the mountains. Not only is it versatile, lightweight and compact, it is also designed to be perfectly waterproof, windproof and breathable. The innovative GORE-TEX ePE membrane is lightweight, high-strength and PFC-free, while C-KNIT backing technology enhances comfort and breathability. Helmet-compatible StormHood provides unobstructed protection, pit zips provide ventilation, RECCO reflectors help you in the search field.
This product does not contain intentionally added PFAS.
The new ePE membrane technology is lighter and thinner, yet just as strong and durable as traditional materials. ePE membrane-based products may notice that the surface fabric 'wets' a little faster, but rest assured that this does not affect the water resistance of the membrane itself. Please be assured that this does not affect the waterproofing of the membrane itself. If you feel that the fabric is getting wetter faster than expected, simply wash and dry the jacket to remove the grease and restore the maximum DWR (durable water repellent) effect.
