When you hear the word “wool,” you might think of how much of a hassle it is to wash. The WUNDERWEAR series uses washable wool, so you can easily wash the entire garment at home without worrying about it shrinking.

・Odor control
Wool is a natural odor-resistant material. The keratin in wool adsorbs odor-causing molecules—such as ammonia and acetic acid—found in sweat and sebum. Additionally, moisture from sweat and other sources does not easily remain on the surface of the fibers, which helps suppress the growth of bacteria and fungi that cause odors. As a result, odors are less likely to develop.

Each individual fiber absorbs a large amount of moisture and generates “heat of adsorption” as it absorbs sweat and water vapor. Because merino wool excels at this function compared to other fibers, it can generate a significant amount of heat.
