The "El Chalten" series is a lightweight double-walled tent with an innovative integrated structure that allows the fly, inner lining, and footprint to be connected and set up in one go. The large entrances and vestibules at the front and back provide a living space that feels more open and mobile than the actual floor size would suggest.
The inner tent is made of monofilament material, which is breathable and produces almost no condensation.
It can be used for traverses, long hikes, motorcycle trips, camping, etc.

■ Version upgrade points
1) The DAC Jack foot system is used instead of a grommet to attach the main pole.
Improved comfort when attaching and detaching the main pole, and stability in bad weather.

2) The interior space of the inner tent has been increased.
Specifically, four connectors between the fly and the inner lining have been added to the ceiling, giving the ceiling and sides more firmness, and although there are no changes to the floor size or height, the interior space has actually been enlarged.

3) The dedicated footprint and four guy lines, which were previously sold separately, are now included. The number of pegs has also increased from six to ten.

■Easy to set up
The fly, inner layer, and even the footprint can be integrated.
All you have to do is spread it out and hang it from a pole, so even those who are not used to it can set it up and take it down in just 3 minutes.

■ Livability
The floor size, two large entrances at the front and rear, and a vestibule create a living space that feels more open and mobile than the actual floor size.
Although it is dome-shaped, the ceiling height is maintained thanks to the third ridge pole.
It can be used in shelter mode with just the fly and footprint.

■ Resistant to condensation
The inner tent is made of a special monofilament material, which means there is almost no discomfort caused by condensation inside the inner tent.
Monofilament material is also used for the two ventilation dividers, minimizing condensation inside the fly.

■ Resistant to bad weather
The structure provides outstanding stability and robustness, making it suitable for use even in bad weather or on ridgelines.
Of the three poles, the cross pole is very flexible and soft, absorbing strong winds, while the rigid ridge pole firmly protects the inner space.
The spacing between the external poles and the fly is extremely narrow, providing stable, powerful tension similar to that of the internal pole system of a single-wall tent.
