*Please note* Regarding shrinkage of the fabric, Pertex Equilibrium has a special double weave structure that features thick threads woven into the back at regular intervals.However, the thick threads are made up of bundles of extremely fine fibers, and when these fibers rub against and become tangled with the body hair during movement, the threads can shrink, resulting in a unique wavy texture.

Our goal was to create shorts that were lighter than the 5-Pocket Shorts but tougher than the Light 5-Pocket Shorts, offering an excellent balance of lightweight, durability, wind resistance and breathability.
The custom-made Pertex Equilibrium material has a double-weave structure with a textured reverse side, which keeps the material away from the skin and keeps it comfortable even when you sweat.
Of course, Yama to Michi's five unique pockets are positioned so that they won't get in the way when you lift your legs, allowing you to neatly store your smartphone and maps.
- As you wear the shoes, a unique wavy texture will develop on the surface of the fabric.
Fabric update
The fabric structure has been revised starting with the 2024 model, making the wavy texture caused by the fabric pulling due to friction with body hair less noticeable than before.

*There may be differences between the actual measurements and the listed measurements due to fabric elasticity or sewing errors.
*The dimensions will change over time as the fabric shrinks when worn and washed.
■Product care
- Wash in water at 40°C or below.
・Wash alone or in a laundry net.
- Dry by hanging in the shade.
- Use the dryer on a low temperature setting (maximum 60°C).
- It will shrink when exposed to the heat of the dryer, but will return to its original shape when washed or worn.
-Do not use fabric softener or bleach.
- When ironing, use low temperature without using steam.
- Do not dry clean.
・It may shrink at high temperatures.
- Friction with body hair may cause pilling and pulled threads.
