Pertex Equilibrium has a special double weave structure that features thick threads woven into the back at regular intervals. The thick threads are made up of bundles of extremely fine fibers, and when these fibers rub against and become tangled with the fur during movement, the threads become pulled, resulting in a unique wavy texture.

Our goal was to create shorts that were lighter than the 5-Pocket Shorts but tougher than the Light 5-Pocket Shorts, offering an excellent balance of lightweight, durability, wind resistance and breathability.
The custom-made Pertex Equilibrium material, which has a textured double-weave structure on the back, is comfortable even when you sweat because it is not easily separated from the skin. Of course, the five pockets unique to Yama to Michi are placed in a position that does not interfere with lifting your legs, allowing you to neatly store your smartphone or map.
- As you wear the shoes, a unique wavy texture will develop on the surface of the fabric.

The fabric structure has been revised starting with the 2024 model, making the wavy texture caused by the fabric pulling due to friction with body hair less noticeable than before.

*The dimensions will change over time as the fabric shrinks with wear and washing.

*The width of both sides is measured around the largest part of the waist when laid flat.
■Product care
- Wash in water at 40°C or below.
・Wash alone or in a laundry net.
- Dry by hanging in the shade.
- Use the dryer on a low temperature setting (maximum 60°C).
- It will shrink when exposed to the heat of the dryer, but will return to its original shape when washed or worn.
-Do not use fabric softener or bleach.
- When ironing, use low temperature without using steam.
- Do not dry clean.
・It may shrink at high temperatures.
- Friction with body hair may cause pilling and pulled threads.
