The UL All-weather series is all-weather clothing that can be used in all weather conditions, whether it's a sweaty hike up, a windy ridgeline, or even a rainy day.
The ultra-thin Pertex Shield Air makes it significantly lighter and more breathable than conventional breathable waterproof and breathable shells, and its overwhelming breathability has reached a level where it can be called a "completely waterproof wind shell."
Among the series, the UL All-weather Hoody, which has no zipper to minimize the places where rain can get in, is surprisingly light and soft to wear, and weighs just 106g (Size S), so you'll forget you're wearing it. It may not be the lightest in the world, but it's definitely the simplest shell in the world.
■Things to note when stagnating and layering
Most rainwear retains heat to a certain extent by creating moisture inside the garment, but while the UL All-weather series has overwhelmingly superior breathability, the heat generated by the body is constantly ventilated outside the garment, so when used alone it only provides the same level of heat retention as a wind shell.
Please keep in mind that when you are stagnant and want to focus on keeping warm, you will need to get creative with layering.

■Precautions for use
・This product is an ultra-lightweight waterproof shell made from an extremely thin waterproof/breathable fabric. Please be careful not to damage or tear it due to rubbing against rocks or catching on trees.
- It is designed to be comfortable to wear when moving around in relatively warm environments, but its heat retention is inferior to that of regular heavy waterproof shells or winter hard shells.
Please be careful when using this product in harsh environments, such as wearing merino wool underneath if bad weather such as storms is expected.
- In order to maximize the waterproof and breathable performance, care is required after wearing.
The performance of the membrane, the water-repellent coating on the surface of the fabric, and the inner layer of the fabric will be compromised if dirt, sweat, sebum, etc. adhere to them.
Wash and dry frequently according to the care instructions to keep the item clean.
- If the water-repellent function of the fabric surface is compromised, the breathability will also be lost.
If you notice a decrease in the water-repellent performance, try drying it on low heat in a dryer or applying heat with a hair dryer to restore the water-repellent properties.
However, repeated washing will cause the initial water repellent to wear off, and the water repellency will not return even when heat is applied.
In that case, please regularly care for it using a commercially available water repellent.
- Because it is an extremely lightweight, thin and porous material, if products containing petrolatum, insect repellent, or ethanol (hair cream, cosmetics, sunscreen, insect repellent, etc.) come into contact with the fabric, stains may occur or the breathability may decrease.
■Product care
- Wash using a gentle water flow cycle with water temperature below 30°C.
・Please use detergent specifically for rainwear or a neutral detergent that does not contain bleach, fabric softener or fluorescent brighteners.
・Wash alone or in a laundry net.
・For heavy stains, apply a diluted detergent and wash the area with a soft sponge. Do not rub the seams on the front or the seam tape on the back.
- Regularly dry the product in a dryer on a low heat setting (maximum 60°C) to restore its water-repellent properties.
-Do not use fabric softener or bleach.
- When ironing, use low temperature without using steam.
Do not dry clean.
- If products that contain petrolatum, insect repellent, or ethanol (hair cream, cosmetics, sunscreen, insect repellent, etc.) come into contact with the fabric, it may cause stains or reduce the breathability of the fabric.
