The material used for UL Pad 15 is XLPE foam, which has extremely high insulating properties and is also used as a thermal insulation material.
XLPE foam is a non-absorbent closed-cell material, so a major feature is that moisture does not penetrate even when placed on snow or wet ground (although water may seep into the surface of the material).
Since it does not use chemical foaming agents, it is also an environmentally friendly material.

UL Pad15 is available in three sizes: 100cm, 175cm, and 200cm.
All widths are set to 50cm, but please cut them to your desired width.

*UL Pad can be easily cut with an ordinary cutter.
When cutting, hold the board firmly with a ruler and cut in one go. Making multiple cuts will result in a dirty cut surface.

-UL Pad 15 prioritizes light weight over cushioning and durability.
- Because the surface has not been embossed or treated, it is easily scratched and the mat may be damaged if excessive force is applied.
・To use it effectively, you need to take some care in choosing a place to sleep (it is not suitable for use in rocky areas such as streams or ridgelines) and in handling it.
・If you value cushioning and durability, consider the UL Pad 15+ with its embossed finish.
-The material is not slippery, so it is easy for excessive force to be applied when used as a backpack frame.
- It is prone to damage if pulled or pushed too hard.
-Scratches and traces of use will remain on the surface of the material.
-When going to snowy mountains, consider using this mattress in combination with other mattresses (layering).
- If you want extra warmth, we recommend placing it directly inside your sleeping bag.
