Winter Only Hood
The Only Hood is extremely simple and lightweight, and can be quickly slipped on whenever you feel chilly. It is made with Polartec Alpha Direct, which provides excellent insulation and breathability.
The "hood only" design is separate from the body, making it very easy to move your head, so much so that you'll forget you're wearing it.
Polartec Alpha Direct does not retain water easily and maintains its loft even when wet, so you can use it actively even in light snowfall.
Weighing just 51g, it is lighter than a typical knit cap but warmer, and can be used as a neck warmer or even a simple balaclava that covers the eyes.
Try pairing it with a hoodless jacket or mid-layer, such as the Light Alpha Vest/Jacket, Merino Coach Jacket or 100% Merino Pullover.

■Product care
The titanium coating on the underside of the fabric will wear off as a result of repeated friction from washing, etc.* However, with proper care, the coating will last for longer.
*The titanium particles that end up in sewerage are in extremely small quantities and are not considered to have any impact on the environment.
If you use a washing machine, set it to a gentle cycle suitable for delicate clothing as indicated on the washing label, and wash in a laundry net.
Depending on the type of detergent, it may in rare cases cause a chemical reaction with metal and discoloration. Therefore, please do not use detergents containing bleach or enzymes, and instead wash with a neutral detergent.
Please avoid soaking for long periods of time as the detergent ingredients may cause the titanium to peel off.
After washing, do not wring out too hard and hang dry in the shade.
Do not iron or dry clean.
If you notice noticeable pilling on the lining when you purchase the item, please wash it once.
