Ultralight, minimal active insulation
Wear it over your base layer when you feel a little chilly. It's a super lightweight, simple vest-style active insulation.
The front is made of thick Polartec Alpha Direct (136g/m2) with no outer layer, which is highly insulating and breathable. Its excellent breathability prevents stuffiness and overheating when you're on the move, and when you're stationary or in cold weather, you can put on a shell to warm your core, and when you sleep it will keep your abdomen and chest warm.
Meanwhile, the back of the garment gets hot from the backpack while on the move, and is kept warm by the mat when sleeping, so we prioritized lightness and packability and finished it using only the lightweight, highly breathable Shadow Lip* that is also used in the UL Shirt.
We also recommend combining it with the UL All-weather series, which also has excellent breathability.
