Active insulation has reduced the hassle of putting on and taking off clothes thanks to its high heat retention and breathability, but a single layer of it was not enough to withstand the strong winds and blizzards on ridgelines in the harsh winter, and down jackets get hot when you move, so you quickly want to take them off when indoors.
The All-weather Alpha Jacket solves this problem by combining Polartec Alpha Direct, which is highly breathable and warm, with Pertex Sealed Air, which is also extremely breathable, waterproof, and lightweight.

■Precautions for use
-This product uses an extremely thin waterproof and breathable fabric for the outer surface.
Please be careful of damage or tears caused by scraping against rocks or getting caught on trees.
- In order to maximize the waterproof and breathable performance, care is required after wearing.
Performance will be impaired if dirt, sweat, oil, etc. adhere to the product. Wash regularly according to the washing instructions.
- If the water-repellent function of the fabric surface is compromised, the breathability will also be lost.
If you notice a decrease in the water-repellent performance, apply heat (for example, with a hair dryer) after washing and drying to restore the water-repellent performance.
However, the initial water repellent will wear off after repeated washing, and the water repellency will not return even when heated. In that case, please periodically care for the product using a commercially available water repellent.
- Because it is an extremely lightweight, thin, porous material, if products containing petrolatum, insect repellent, or ethanol (hair cream, cosmetics, sunscreen, insect repellent, etc.) come into contact with the fabric, stains may occur or the breathability may decrease.
■Product care
With this product, water that gets caught between the outer and inner lining layers has difficulty removing it. If it is washed in a washing machine, the agitation during the rinse cycle can put stress on the adhesive points of the fabric due to water pressure, which may cause the membrane to peel off.
To keep your product in good condition, always wash and rinse by hand.
If the product does not drain well after rinsing, you can turn the product inside out and use the washing machine on a short setting of about 1 minute to spin-dry the product only.
- Use the washing machine only to spin-dry the item, and wash and rinse by hand.
- When washing, wash by hand in lukewarm water (approximately 30°C) with a moderate amount of neutral detergent.
-Do not use fabric softener or bleach.
- For areas with noticeable stains, wash the area using a sponge or other tool in detergent solution.
- Be sure to rinse thoroughly as any detergent remaining can cause discoloration and reduce water repellency.
- To spin-dry, turn the garment inside out and wash it in the washing machine on a short setting of less than 1 minute.
- Do not use a dryer as this will accelerate deterioration of the adhesive.
- Dry by hanging in the shade.
- Periodically apply heat with a hair dryer to restore the water-repellent properties of the outer material.
