100% merino for heavy activities
The 100% Merino Light Sleeveless, which uses the thinnest fabric (145-155g/m2) in the Yama to Michi Merino knit series, is suitable for hard activities such as trail running. We also recommend pairing it with the Yama to Michi Trail Shirt.
Made from 100% merino wool with no chemical fibers mixed in, it has a strong deodorizing effect and excellent temperature and moisture regulation properties, making hiking more comfortable.
Additionally, many merino wool products cannot be tumble dried as this may cause shrinkage or deformation, however, Yama to Michi's proprietary 100% Merino Light fabric is a 100% merino wool product that can be tumble dried at low temperature settings (maximum 60°C).
The difference in the degree of shrinkage of the threads due to tumble drying in the finishing process creates slubby unevenness on the surface of the fabric, giving it the texture of a well-worn vintage T-shirt.
Updated fabric to be less prone to warping
Starting with the 2023 model, we have updated the fabric to be less prone to distortion, a previously issue, by using yarn spun using a compact spinning method.

Due to the nature of the material, the garment will stretch approximately 1cm vertically when hung to dry, but the product is finished to a size that takes this 1cm of fabric stretching into account.

*Due to the characteristics of the stretchy knit material, there may be individual differences of 1-2 cm in the product.
*Due to the nature of the material, there may be slight differences in shrinkage rate. The shrinkage rate may also change depending on the type of washing machine and course settings.
*Using a dryer on a low temperature setting may cause the product to shrink more than if it were dried naturally, but this can be improved by washing it again and hanging it to dry.
*If you are concerned about shrinkage after washing and drying, you can improve this by stretching the garment and ironing it with a steam iron.

■About dye transfer on fabric
Please note that the color of this Charcoal Marl or Navy product may transfer if it is rubbed against a white or light-colored shirt when wet with sweat or rain.
■About using a dryer
Use the dryer on a low temperature setting (below 60°C).
*Using a dryer will shorten the length of the garment by 1-2 cm, but this can be improved by washing again and hanging to dry.
■Product care
Merino wool has excellent odor wicking properties so it doesn't need to be washed frequently.
- Yama to Michi's 100% merino wool is a fabric that does not shrink easily, so it can be washed on a washing machine's "delicates" cycle, which is used for delicate clothing with a weak water flow.
-Since it is easily eaten by insects, please take measures against insects such as using insect repellent or storing it in an airtight bag.
- Because the fibers are short, pilling and fluffing may occur, but as you wash the fabric, the fluff will fall off to a certain extent and pilling will become less likely to occur.
