A little over 10 years ago, a former NATO alpine unit and world-famous ice climber, and a gentleman who was a member of the SAS and was passionate about critical mountain climbing, launched the Mountain Project to develop clothing that could be worn systematically, from base layers to shells and overjackets.
The current "Tsurugi Jacket" is part of that project and is the main shell.
The ventilation system common to all of them is an adapted version of the system used in the TB Jacket and Pants.
The Tsurugi 10th Down Jacket is an insulation designed for relatively low temperature conditions, and is filled with 850 fill water-repellent down.
