Based on the homemade sacoche used by hiker Turtle on the PCT, this is a simple, versatile, and practical sacoche for hiking that "I didn't really want to make," but which seems like something you'd find elsewhere.
It's simple so it can be matched with any style.
"No front or back design"
One of the features of the Turtle, a simple hiking sacoche, is that it has no front or back. There is no rule as to which side the streamer at the entrance should hang down. If you frequently take small items in and out of the mesh pocket, put the mesh pocket on the outside. If you want to prevent the mesh from getting caught on something, put the mesh pocket on the side of your body. How you use it is up to you.
"Stuff sack-like design"
The streamers and drawstring style are the biggest features of the Turtle's design. The material is soft, so it can be used just like a stuff bag.
