It is extremely comfortable to wear and wraps you in gentle warmth.
While using natural materials in outdoor wear, we discovered that yak has a wonderful quality that is different from sheep's wool.
Yak natural hair is highly rare and is not mass-produced like sheep's wool.
From among these, STATIC chose the one from Tibet.

Yak hair, which lives in more mountainous areas, should match our outdoor tendencies.
This intuitive encounter resulted in a lightweight, functional product.

- Uses yak hair that lives at altitudes of over 4000m
Yak hair is very thin, with a diameter of less than 20 microns and a length of about 3.5 to 4.5 cm. Compared to sheep's wool, it does not have the scales on the surface of the hair that cause shrinkage, so it does not generally require shrink-proofing.
- 30% more heat retaining than wool, almost the same as cashmere
- It is 30% more breathable than cashmere and does not get stuffy easily.
Very soft and gentle to the touch and feel
High elasticity makes it less likely to wrinkle

■Care instructions and precautions
Please enjoy your knitwear by following the correct care instructions to ensure it will last a long time.

・Dry cleaning is recommended.
- Wearing it for a long time may cause the shape to become distorted, so please let it rest after wearing it for a day.
After wearing, use a soft brush to remove any dust or dirt from the surface, align the fur, and dry in the shade in a well-ventilated area. (Hanging for a long time may cause the shape to change, so please dry flat as much as possible.)
- During the off-season, add an insect repellent and store it folded in a well-ventilated place.

Generally, dry cleaning is recommended.
・After wearing it for a day, let it rest for a few days.
Due to the characteristics of the fibers, fur may adhere to other clothing due to wear during use.
- Pilling may occur due to wear and tear during use or cleaning. If pilling occurs, remove them one by one carefully without pulling them to avoid cutting the fabric.
・When wearing the garment, please be careful not to let accessories (watches, buttons, zippers) get caught in the knitted fabric of the product.
・If the thread gets caught and comes loose, do not cut it but use a thin stick to push the thread back inside the product (we recommend using a repair needle).
- It is not a problem when worn with normal clothing, but please be aware that if you wear it with something with thick, stiff fibers, such as a blanket, the fibers may get tangled and pull against each other, which may cause the yak fibers to come loose.
If pilling occurs due to friction with a bag or belt, cut it off with scissors without cutting the main fabric.
If the thread breaks and a hole appears, the hole will only get bigger if you continue using the product. Please contact us.

■Environmental friendliness
・Yak hair is collected by combing it before it falls off to the ground.
・Since it does not undergo the chlorine resin treatment commonly used for wool, it does not emit chlorine organic compounds and does not burden the environment.
- It is not coated with resin, which is a common shrink-proofing agent, so it is highly biodegradable.
・Mocha and Natural (YAK Liner) are not dyed, but rather use the natural color of the yak hair. This has many benefits, such as no CO2 emissions during dyeing, no chemical dyes, and no water. However, STATIC also offers dyed color variations so that you can enjoy the colors.
- Non-mulesing: Since the fleece is made from naturally falling hair, there is no need to mulege like with sheep, making it gentler on the animals.
