The Stove Mat is sold for solid fuel, alcohol stoves, and gas stoves, but we have discovered that it cannot be used with the following products.

○Items that cannot be used: Stoves that use Esbit solid fuel
(The one without legs = the one where the stove and mat touch)

More than alcohol and Firedragon, the Esbit itself is very hot, and the ingredients it contains make it very hot, which is likely the reason why the stove is heated so strongly.

A new option for stove mats

We focused on using silica aerogel, a nonwoven fabric coated with the material, as an insulating material, as it has excellent insulating properties by volume.
It is used as a mat when using alcohol or solid fuel stoves.

Until now, we had been using lightweight felt, which has poor thermal conductivity, but its fibers tend to shed easily and we felt guilty about leaving it in nature as it is not biodegradable.
The Silica Aerogel series overcomes this problem by being lightweight and of a practical size for mountain climbing, and we propose it as a new option.

What is SiO2 AEROGEL?
Silica aerogel is known as a by-product of silica gel production.
However, its performance is so distinctive that it has been adopted by NASA.
Also known as "frozen smoke" or "solid smoke," this next-generation material is extremely low-density, lightweight, and has high insulating properties.
