RawLow Mountain Works first wallet is finally here.
The aim was to get from the lodge to the restaurant.
Many brands are selling hiker's wallets nowadays, but we've been using the mountain wallet for about five years now.
I had thought about it.
When we made several samples, we couldn't get rid of the feeling that this was not the right one, and to be honest, the project itself was in limbo.
Last year, by chance, we changed our mindset a little bit to get back to our roots, and that's how this Hillary Wallet was completed at a furious pace from there.
The smallest and most minimalist coin-case type in the series, it can also hold notes if folded, making it the ideal shape for mountain wealth cloth.
It will also fit the minimum number of cards required and will work well as a sub-wallet.

After the leather is dyed at the tanning stage, a chemical called Scotchgard (water repellent) developed by 3M is used in the greasing process, which has water and oil repellent effects.
Each fibre has the effect of repelling moisture because the leather fibres are soaked in oil and at the same time infiltrated with Scotchgard.
Unlike the common case of applying waterproofing sprays to finished leather only on the surface, the water-repellent effect is semi-permanently maintained by adsorbing it to the leather fibres themselves.
In addition, each finished lot of leather is inspected by 3M's inspection organisation and only leather that meets the standards is used.
The idea was to create a leather that was close to the look of the German Weinheimer and French Tannery-du-Puy leathers used by Hermès, which were our favourite ideal leathers that we had been using for over 30 years.
