Our goal was to create a seamless day hike backpack
For example, when we go to Takao or Okutama areas that are easily accessible by train from Tokyo, we feel a bit embarrassed to get on the train dressed in outfits that look like they're going mountain climbing, so we're not very good at it.
When designing it, we naturally optimized it for the strenuous activities of hiking, but we also aimed to create mountain gear with an old-school design that is not too sporty and is characteristic of RLMW.
Bambi is a seamless mountain gear that can be used effectively on hikes and blends in seamlessly with the city on the approach and after descent.
The balance of the body and harness is designed so that weight is placed on the upper body, so it fits regardless of height.
In addition, the inner urethane foam back pad is removable, allowing you to customize it by replacing it with your preferred one.
The main material is a strong yet lightweight 1000D water-repellent nylon (15% polyester blend).
The concept of using Dyneema X gridstop and X-PAC VX21 in key areas is inherited from Antelope.
Bambi is a medium-sized backpack that is easy to use for day hikes, camping in huts, and even camping in tents if you're a bit more adventurous and using UL gear.
