Rascal is RLMW's largest capacity backpack, over 45L, designed for tent-based mountain climbing.
The zipper opening and roll top allow for great volume adjustments.
Designed for long hikes or mountain climbing with a packed weight of 10 to 15 kg, the back pad, harness pattern and core material have been revised to make the backpack more solid and comfortable to wear than conventional RLMW backpacks.
The exquisite balance of lightness and durability, which is the essence of RLMW, remains the same as before.
In addition, the exterior pockets have been carefully designed for ease of packing, usability, and size, making it ideal not only for intermediate to advanced enthusiasts, but also as a first backpack for tent camping beginners.
It took about a year and a half of field testing before the product was released, resulting in a four-season backpack that can be used even in the harsh winter.
The biggest feature of Rascal is its versatility, with its easily adjustable capacity. For example, it can be used for camping in a hut or tent, and can also be packed with room to carry extra food when hiking.
The back is designed to be wider and features a wide pad with moderate firmness, making it very stable when hiking.

Rascal is designed to be easy to pack and convenient to use with outer pockets.
The large front stretch mesh pocket has a large gusset and a large capacity. Depending on the model, it can store snowshoes, crampons, shovels, etc. (There is a water drain hole at the bottom of the pocket.)
The waterproof zippered pocket for small items is shallow (approximately 20cm deep) to make it easier to take out items when the bag is fully packed.
The side pockets are large enough to hold not only bottles but also shelters and packraft paddles (with drainage holes).
