Multi-fabric
The main material is tough 1000 denier nylon, and the heathered nylon texture and unique color pay homage to the good old heavy-duty products of the 80s.
We have selected strong materials that are resistant to abrasion on rocky surfaces such as granite, which are common in Japanese mountains, and can also handle the situation when skis or other items are attached to the sides in winter.
The highly durable Dyneema X Grid Stop is used on the front panel and harness parts that are subject to high friction and come into contact with ice axes and crampons in winter.
The bottom and roll top parts, which are subject to wear and tear and frequently get wet, are made with X-PAC, which is lightweight, strong, and highly waterproof. Rather than pursuing only production efficiency, we chose materials with the idea of ​​using the right material for the right place, and came to the conclusion that we should use this multi-fabric.

Daisy chain
RawLow Mountain Works backpacks feature the signature daisy chain.
This is an iconic feature that expresses our respect for the great climbers of the past, but it also reflects our hope that users will expand and use it in various ways based on their own imagination.
Rather than simply striving for weight reduction, we have actively retained parts that we feel are necessary, such as gear loops and axe holders.

Inner pad
For parts that cannot be seen, such as the back pad and the inner pads of the shoulder harness, we repeatedly tested them to select materials that we were satisfied with for the comfort of carrying the pack.
You may find them a little stiff at first, but they are designed to prevent fatigue on long hikes and to become more comfortable as you use them.
Our goal was to create a backpack that you wouldn't even notice was its weight. The balance of the harness design and attachment position, and compatibility with the inner padding can dramatically change how comfortable the backpack is to wear.
We believe that no matter how light the base weight can be made, it would be counterproductive if this balance is lost.
We also paid particular attention to the beautiful appearance of the shoulder harness when the backpack is taken off.
