The Phantom series was developed for fastpacking style mountaineering, such as mountain races.
Its biggest feature is the unique harness system that uses seven support points to reduce pack shaking.
The Y-shaped harness behind the neck fixes the pack's center of gravity to the center of the body (i.e. the spine) and does not restrict movement around the shoulders, allowing for a more natural running form.
The V-shaped anchors on both sides keep the pack snugly against your back, reducing lateral and vertical movement, no matter how rough the terrain.
