The Tenser Extreme Conditions (EC) marks a new page in NEMO's backcountry pad innovation.
The new Apex baffle construction gives it an impressive R-value of 8.5, which is unimaginable for its storage size, and an impressive weight-to-weight ratio insulation. The warmest and most insulating UL pad on the market, yet the quietest sleeping pad in its class.
The Apex baffle design with uniquely shaped trusses allows a record-breaking four layers of thermal mirror (insulating film) to be suspended evenly without overlap inside the pad.
With a phenomenal amount of warmth thanks to the positioning and number of films meticulously calculated to maximise insulation, this pad is the perfect gear for winter adventures.
More importantly, the thermal mirror is not welded to the pad, which minimises crinkling noise.
Warmth, quietness and 9 cm thick stable cushioning all combine to make the Tensor EC synonymous with comfort.
40D nylon on the bottom for improved puncture resistance and strength.
The 20D nylon top (bluesign certified), which is stronger than previous models, is not only lightweight but also soft and soft to the touch for a comfortable sleep.
Valve materials and design have also been updated to improve performance and usability at low temperatures.
In combination with the included Vortex pump sack, it can be inflated quickly and easily without allowing excess moisture into the pad by exhalation.
