The Tensor Extreme Conditions (EC) marks a new chapter in NEMO's backcountry pad innovation.
The newly developed Apex baffle structure achieves an incredible insulation-to-weight ratio of R-value 8.5, which is unimaginable given its stored size.
It's the warmest and most insulated UL pad on the market, yet it's the quietest sleeping pad in its class.
The Apex baffle design, with its unique truss shape, allows four layers of thermal mirror (insulating film) to be evenly suspended inside the pad, the most ever, with no overlapping.
With the placement and number of films carefully calculated to maximise insulation, this pad delivers incredible warmth and weighs under 500g, making it the perfect gear for your winter adventures.
More importantly, the thermal mirror is not fused to the pad, minimizing rustling noise.
Combining warmth, quietness and stable cushioning with 9cm of thickness, Tensor EC is the epitome of comfort.
The bottom is made of 40D nylon for improved puncture resistance and strength.
The 20D nylon top (bluesign certified), which is stronger than previous models, is not only lightweight but also soft to the touch, providing a comfortable sleep.
Valve materials and design have also been updated to improve performance and ease of use in low temperatures.
When combined with the included Vortex Pump Sack, it can be inflated quickly and easily without introducing excess moisture into the pad through exhalation.
