As its name suggests, the Crown 3 40 is made with PFAS-free recycled nylon for the body and straps, and recycled plastics and Global Recycling Standard (GRS) certified recycled materials for the back panel and frame.
This is Granite Gear's first step in committing to creating environmentally friendly products.
The size is perfect for day trips or short overnight treks, and the load capacity can be easily adjusted by using add-on stays sold separately.
It has many features that allow you to customize it to suit your style.

■ECO INITIATIVE
The ECO series uses Regenrobic, a recycled high-density nylon, for the body, straps, and back foam.
The built-in suspension frame is made from recycled plastic that would previously have been disposed of in landfills.
These are certified by the Global Recycled Standard (GRS), an international certification program for recycled products run by a non-profit organization.

The Crown 3 PE framesheet has reinforced channels and cutouts to reduce weight.
It can be removed for further weight reduction.
In addition, the design is also able to accommodate an add-on stay (sold separately) that can be used to increase the load capacity by 4 kg.
The back panel features a molded chevron design to promote ventilation.
Recycled plastic is used for the 40ECO.
