The six sharp stainless steel spikes on the forefoot provide support when walking on hardened snow or icy surfaces.
The shoes can be stored in a pocket inside the special case, and when needed, they can be quickly put on by simply hanging the toe loop around your toe and putting the rubber band over your heel.
The webbing loop on the heel supports smooth putting on and taking off while improving identification, and the structure that combines a webbing toe loop and an elastomer heel retainer provides a lightweight yet secure fit to the shoe.
