Knife Sharpening Compound is Bushcraft JP's original knife-specific compound.
Silicon carbide abrasives are used and work well with Bushcraft Original Strop (leather grindstone).
Set of 3 fine grit (#3,000, #6,000 and #12,000) / with wooden spatula for compounding.
In previous knife maintenance, for corrective level sharpening, have you been using sandpaper (water-resistant paper) on a strop or stone-based (ceramic or diamond)?
Bushcraft JP offers a range of #600, #1,200, #3,000, #6,000 and #12,000 to keep the Convex beautiful from the revision stage.
Finer compounds exist, but even #12,000 is more than sufficient to achieve a mirror finish.
Bushcraft JP also offers a relatively coarse grain size of #600 to cover a wide range of knife stropping and maintenance needs.
#600をお使いいただきますと、チップ（刃こぼれ）や、セカンダリーべベル、マイクロべベル等、全体的なジオメトリーの修正が可能な粗さになります。
The grain size is a little finer for correction, but when correcting expensive knives, it is safe to start with this grain size to avoid oversharpening.
The trick is to apply it thinly and evenly so that the leather of the strop does not turn white. That is the key to good quality sharpening.

This may be resolved by boiling the entire compound container in hot water and then stirring the contents well with a wooden stick.
*Care when used on leather grindstones*.
With brass or harder stainless steel brushes, etc.
Cleaning the compound from the leather grind can restore the effectiveness of the leather grind.
*Please note that there may be minor scratches during transportation.
The cap in particular may be dented, but this is not a problem when using the product.
