Axes Quinn, Awonero.
■Manufacturer's description quoted.
'Thoughts and Creation'
As I am a sweaty person, I was planning highly breathable products before highly breathable clothing became commonplace as it is today. This was a long time ago when we started developing "Ryo", but the Aonero incorporates Japanese design while maintaining the functionality of the pants we planned at that time. Based on the design of the wild clothes trousers used for mountain work in ancient Japan, the trousers were updated for shinogging by changing the material from cotton to highly breathable nylon, changing the waist from a string to a stretch cord for easy adjustment, and adding side pockets for storing tenugui hand towels and the like. The Awonero is a trouser that represents an item that outperforms sweat.
"With a heart of gold."
With outstanding breathability and a roomy silhouette from armpits to knees, the Awonero does not feel stuffy or sticky even in the low mountains in humid mid-summer, and can even survive grassy footpaths in a cool, dry environment. The nylon belt has been eliminated, so the waist area is neat and not bulky, so it doesn't sit on top of the hip belt of a backpack. The left and right side pockets are easy to use as they are located at the lower hand position and do not overlap with the hip belt of the backpack, making them unusable.
Dressing."
When climbing a well-trodden ridge, leave it as it is and roll up the hem to the desired length. When climbing a ridge with no tracks or in the bush, use a kunai to protect your footing. If the bushes are persistent, wrapping a tsuyuharahi around your feet is another way to protect them.
...Arranged from early Showa period field trousers.
Stretch waist + drawcord.
Pockets at front, back, left and right.
Zip pocket inside the right front pocket.
Thickness and crotch gussets for ease of movement.
Narrow hems to reduce chafing
Hole in the inside of the hem for threading a cord.
... and eight-tenths length.
Features of the 0 material
It has the necessary strength for trousers, but thanks to its very high breathability it is always dry and does not stick to the skin, even in hot and humid weather. Lightweight, water-repellent, quick-drying and moderately windproof, it is an essential material for summer sinogging items.
