In an era when there was no stretch material and luxuries were impossible, mountain work clothes were made from precious bolts of fabric, with no waste, yet still easy to move in. As such, pants packed with ingenuity must be very easy to move in, so I adapted the pattern of a real work suit to create a pair of trousers for shinogyo. As expected, the material is nylon, not cotton, but I chose a twill weave with a subdued sheen to maintain as natural an appearance as possible. This is another item that can only be found at Ryo, who incorporates traditional Japanese designs.

"Comfort"
The moment you put them on, you will feel the ease of movement and coolness. The material is not too thick or too thin, and the wide crotch gusset that extends to the hem allows for better airflow than it looks, so you can feel the coolness and ease of movement. Based on the pants used for mountain work in the past, they can easily follow the movements of steep climbs that would make you hit your chin with your knees. The waist area has been streamlined by eliminating unnecessary nylon belts, so it does not interfere with the hip belt of a large backpack. It is perfect for shinogi from mid-April to early autumn, when the daytime temperatures begin to rise.

"How to dress"
The pants have quite a striking silhouette, so they give off a sense of indecent vibes on their own, but why not wear them with Noragi to perfect your look? That way, you won't feel out of place even if you sneak into the filming of a period drama. There is a hole on the inside of the hem to insert a string, so you can wear them with the hem tightened. On the other hand, you can wear them with a kunai around the legs and loose around the knees to get through difficult situations. The swaying silhouette in the wind is the very image of a solitary Shinora, creating a very Japanese silhouette.
