When the Calfwoo sweater was first released, all other products made with octa also used octa for the lining.
This may be because the activities were intended to take place in an environment that is colder and at higher altitudes than Japan.
Ryo had been interested in Octa because it is light and has moderate heat retention, but he had no intention of using it as a lining.
This is because he felt that in the low mountain areas where Ryo's field is located, he would most often wear a single Octa sweater layered over a base layer.
If you're worried about the wind, you can simply layer a breathable shell like the Hagoromo, which is by far the most versatile option.
When snogging in cold seasons, it works as active insulation providing moderate warmth while you are on the move, and when snogging in warm seasons, it works as insulation to prevent you from getting cold from sweat when you are stationary.

Teijin Octa is an innovative polyester material that is approximately half the weight of polyester fibers of the same diameter.
